The Assyrian Aid Society of Canada had the opportunity to meet with the Assyrian Chaldean Syriac Student Union (ACSSU) of Canada to discuss the future of both organizations. ACSSU is an entirely student-run non-profit organization that has 7 branches at York University, The University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, McMaster University, The University of Waterloo, Laurier University and Humber College. The current AAS-CA committee is primarily comprised of ACSSU alumni, and we recognize the tremendous work that they do to bring Canadian Assyrian youth together. We want to ensure that ACSSU is given all the support they need to continue thriving as an organization.
